Ewubawn: Walking In Their New Spring/Summer 2025 Collection

We sat down with the folks behind Ewubawn to talk through their latest drop, which pulls from early 2000s tracksuit energy, vintage Americana, and a whole lot of personal meaning. The "Sportacus striped set" and the USA flipped hoodie are just part of the story. Here's what they had to say.

1. The "Sportacus striped set" looks like a retro track suit—what made y’all tap into that old-school energy for this drop?

"Honestly, the inspiration came from old adidas/early 2000s track sets," they told us. "I’ve really been in my old music bag recently so I designed the tracksuit, and instantly I knew it was gonna be a banger."

2. That USA hoodie flips the flag with walking figures—what’s the story behind that graphic? I see the trend with the walking figure.

"There’s not really a story behind it," they said. "I’ve always loved America and American culture so I wanted to tie my brand's logo in with that. Still need to go out to the States and do some work there!"

3. The Bawn Studios tee says “2003 / 1962.” What’s the meaning behind those years?

"The years are basically 2003, the year I was born, and 1962 which is my dad’s year, so both are pretty important years to me. Any way I can tie my family into this stuff, imma do it."

4. If someone throws on a full Ewubawn fit from this drop, what do you want them to feel like walking outside?

"Not even from this drop specifically, but when someone puts on Ewubawn I want 'em to feel like they have the confidence to go talk to their crush or some shit, or walk in a building and not care about nothing," they told us. "Just feel like the f**king guy, that’s what it makes me feel like anyway."

5. I peeped there are only 100 being dropped. Will these ever be released again if they do well or is this a one-and-done?

"This specific colour is never releasing again, but the whole design will be released again in a couple of colours. Gonna be really cool, can’t wait."
